There are some good things in #Prometheus, acting. set design, sporadic ideas but boy does the editing and writing go south as the film moves along.

Example(s): biologist finds dead alien. What does biologist, a man who of science who has studied and wondered about his life all his life do when he finds an inanimate corpse unlike any ever encountered? He is like, "yo, dawg, I need to like get out of here as fast as I can, See ya later, home slice."
And we can't forget the all knowing Captain that with almost no information (2 infected crewman) realizes that this is a base to manufacture Weapons of Mass Destruction and that nothing can be allowed to leave.
It goes on and on. It is a poorly strung together narrative with some nice scenes and set pieces
