I met this fantastic artist yesterday named Justin Castaneda. He's a writer and illustrator from the south side of Chicago. He wrote and illustrated a really clever series of children's books titled "When I was Little."
Being the geek that I am though, I fell in love with his "When I was Little" superhero illustrations.

Here's how we play!
First, We take turns picking our teams from the G+ user pool until we reach 50 people each (We have over 100 million people to choose from!) Once someone is picked, they cannot be picked again. NO DUPLICATES ALLOWED!
Second, We take our 50 people and put them in a circle.
Third, We share our circles publicly on the same day at the same time.
So, who wins right?
We add up the total followers our team of 50 has before we share the circle, and then we total up how many followers our team has after a couple days of sharing the circles. The biggest increase wins!

My record now stands at 13 Cheerios.
Getting to 10 is pretty easy...then the challenge kicks in.
No bonding substances or building frameworks allowed (no toothpicks down the center). Photographic evidence is mandatory. Plain Cheerios only.
No Cheerio modification allowed. You can choose which Cheerios to use though. They must be full circles.
Honorable mentions for Fruit Loops, Whole Hearts, Honey Nut, (and anything that looks close. If you use something else, I'll buy it and try to beat your score.

Star Wars Costume Update - Under 22 hours until deadline.
It turns out that it's nearly impossible (at least for me) to cover a rounded surface with an even layer of vinyl. It just doesn't work. So after more than 3 hours, I decided that I needed a new plan.
What do ya think? Does it look like R2D2??
I just don't have it in me to give up. New blueprints have been drawn up and I've been hard at work for the past 3 hours on R2D2 Mark 2. So far it doesn't suck as much as the first iteration.

Sorry it took a bit longer to post than planned, but we wanted to make sure the totals were absolutely correct.
Drumroll please...
And... Team Scott takes the dive! The final total of new followers for each circle was 15049 #teamkeith to 13062 #teamscott
After trailing in totals for the last couple days, Team Keith pulls out the win with a lead of 1987!
In a last 15 minutes of play Scott was blind sided with a sudden last minute flurry of circlers (cough cough thanks +Mike Elgan http://goo.gl/eQoWk)

After losing the EPIC build your own Star Wars contest spearheaded by the one and only Overlord +Halfdan Reschat, +Scott Cramer appeared live in a public Google Plus hangout on Saturday the 14th.
The hangout +Halfdan Reschat put together was a great time, a smashing success, and a day that +Scott Cramer will never forget.
I spent about 4 hours editing together some of the highlights from the video I took during +Scott Cramer's hangout as Slave Princess Leia. It just seemed appropriate that the footage be edited together to the song Lopti Nek performed by the Max Rebo band in Jabba's palace.
It took a little longer to finish the video than I planned, so i'm posting it a little later than I want. I'm probably going to miss the majority of my target users since it's going up so late. Do me a favor and tag anyone in who may be interested!

It's a family secret that I've carried with me for 30 years. I can't bear the burden any longer. The truth must be revealed.
In 1983, when Scott was only 16 years old, he was chosen for the role of Jabba's palace slave in Star Wars episode VI, Return of the Jedi. George Lucas was captivated by Scott's unparalleled style and fashion sense. Knee high athletic socks, cut off shorts recycled from worn jeans, and designer K-Mart sneakers were just a part of the allure. I believe that it was his calm and confident demeanor, his desire for world peace, and his absolute comfort in a tank top that George fell in love with.
Unfortunately, Scott's dream role didn't last long. Before filming began, Carrie Fisher manipulated Lucas into giving her the role of palace slave instead. Carrie provided George questionable market research claiming that a young attractive female wearing the metal bikini would be more appealing to Star Wars' largely male demographic.
After such harsh rejection, Scott began spiraling deeper and deeper into all types of geekery. These events are what shaped Scott into the man he is today.

Eating cheap and fast has been waaaaaay too easy lately, so we decided to start focusing on more home cooked meals.
Dinner tonight was homemade turkey manhattans with sauteed green beans and cauliflower.
The turkey was slow cooked with onions and garlic...it was delicious. One of the best darn turkeys I ever ate!
All served up on our finest chipped Walmart china!
Almost forgot... Strawberry, Raspberry, and Banana Smoothie to drink!

We had such a grand day out and about with +Dirk Reul in Fort Wayne! The mighty "Fort" of Fort Wayne felt the presence of the Reulek, especially when he tried to Exterminate +Scott Cramer. We goofed around on the pedestrian bridge. Seriously, I wouldn't have really thrown you in the river! :-)
We finished the day at Fort Wayne's famous "Coney Island" where +Dirk Reul invited his Reulek clan for lunch! The employees loved their chance to chill with the mighty Reulek!
