It was International Woman's Day today. And +Christine Glew is a woman. And being my woman, she deserves only the best of things. Like Bacon Roses.

SO after working whole month on 5 different projects I missed Pasha a lot. So yesterday I decided to make him happy and take him on adventure :) 

After work and play a little I went to the show and then +Gord Birch brought me and Pashka downtown. We saw cool birdies and fishes and Pasha just loved Vietnamese spring rolls. Then on the way home we saw giant head and tried to climb it but officer told us, NO WAY!!! :)
We took the train to the mall and did some shopping and Pasha looked so sweet and funny trying to read the magazine on the buss. He also promised , that he would buy me lots of houses that he saw in that magazine :) 

It was great evening.

I was a little sad today, so Pashka said : Lets go downstair mommy I want to paint with you.
When we went down he said : I always can make you smile. He turned around put his thumbs to his ears and wiggled his fingers and made a funny noise. It made me giggle right away. So when we where finally in our craft room he drew this 2 paintings on the left. Pink frame is one of him making me smile by making a funny face, and second is of a person with a blue wing and yellow tail and funny hair like his Babusya (Russian Grand-mom)

So yes little monkey you can always make me smile :) I love you with all my heart ♥

P.S. Black framed drawing is when Pashka was around 1 years old :)

A man was driving when he saw the flash of a traffic camera. He figured that his picture had been taken for exceeding the limit, even though he knew that he was not speeding. Just to be sure, he went around the block and passed the same spot, driving even more slowly, but again the camera flashed. Now he began to think that this was quite funny, so he drove even slower as he passed the area again, but the traffic camera again flashed. He tried a fourth time with the same result. He did this a fifth time and was now laughing when the camera flashed as he rolled past, this time at a snail's pace. Two weeks later, he got five tickets in the mail for driving without a seat belt.

Looks like it is end if the day :)

I was felting all day so, my hand started to hurt, so I went to look if we have a cast or something, and look what I found.
This picture is my favourite, look at how they look at each other? Pure LOVE.
This is my parents.
It is a very long but sweet story.If you have time ....
This is the first day when my dad saw me and this little bundle of joy - me :), in USSR there was the funny laws. For example : My Mom stayed for 2 weeks in the hospital and she wasn't allowed to see my dad, and my dad wasn't aloud to see me. Personally I think it is great that they took such a long care of my Mom , but not sure my Dad loved it :)
Mom was telling me story , that after I was born dad was standing under her window and yelling for her , when she looked down he asked her to open window, she was on the second floor . After window was opened he threw huge bucket of Gladiolas , but she wasn't allowed any flowers in her room. So Mom threw them back, Dad was upset and threw them back at her, it was hard but she give them back. So my Dad just threw them on the pavement and started to jump on them. Said if you can't have them, nobody will.
After that picture was taken they didn't had anywhere to go and for about 3 month of my life we where homeless but I never knew about it, my Mom and Dad never showed me that it was tough for them. I grew up a very happy person and I just wish that Pashka will grow up a happy, kind person too.
I love my parents so much ♥♥♥

She wanted me to make 2 dogs Milo and Duffy , I never made dogs from a real picture so it was a little changeling, but I really enjoyed working on this project , and now I want to share it with you, so maybe you have some ideas for Christmas or any other occasion :)

In Movember a lot of men and even some women grow a moustache and even my little creatures agreed to get hairier for a good cause :)

In honour of the Movember push for raising awareness for prostate Cancer, for every Moustached creature I sell this month, 10% of the proceeds will go to this charity.

Spend another great day at my studio. Making fun creatures. There will be about 5 of them and a background for each of them :) in the end of my residency I will have my own show May 9th :) My first small but SOLO show :)
