What draws your eye? Is it the color? Maybe the contrast? Could it be that the shapes are what you see?
These are the thoughts that skip and play through my mind this week as I continue my mentorship with  +G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers.
+Robin Griggs Wood♥ continues to help us understand how the way you compose your pictures can bring the viewer pleasure, or if composed awkwardly can make the audience feel uncomfortable. We will continue to play with composition this week and I just might be getting the hang of this concept. :) 
As always, I continue to find inspiration, education and a lot of heart from my fellow classmates. 

The clouds rolled upon us
and the seas churned 
eyes rolled
lips curled
hearts were broken
words were spoken
emotions raced
and then
....and then
it all closed up
never to open again

The next day the birds sang and flowers grew and old lovers bid adieu

The tears I cry

Can't see the forest for the trees

I started off my day with a prayer,

I did my best to work through my real estate problems, I talked with someone who loves me, 
I sigh
and hope, dream, wish, cry, love and remember tomorrow is another day.

I am so excited to be participating in the +G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers it has been an awesome experience so far. We get assignments every week, this is my first experience with taking pictures with something in mind. Usually, I just wander around and take pictures of random things that I think are beautiful or interesting. For the next 12 weeks I'll have a focus. 
You wouldn't believe how amazing and helpful my mentorship group is! I feel so very blessed to be a part of this. +Robin Griggs Wood freely and lovingly gives of herself in a way that would make Mother Teresa proud. Also, many people who have already completed the mentorship with Robin come back to help us and thank God, they hold our hands and help us baby step through the parts where we need clarification.  Again, lovely, loving people just giving their time and expertise, out of the goodness of their hearts. 
Can you imagine how wonderful it feels to be surrounded by such love, talent and generosity of spirit? 
It feels great! So far, one of the very best experiences of my entire life!

It's been a tough year for so many people, myself included. But, it's also been a wonderful year. I have met some fantastic people here on G+ and in real life on photowalks. 
I want to thank you guys so much for the gifts. They seriously light up my life and I just think it's amazing.  I have enjoyed the giving and receiving. 
It doesn't take much to make my heart burst open with chocolate love bubbles and bacon flavored unicorn kisses. ♥♥♥

 *Jumping off the Deep End*

Well, this is week 9 of my +G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers with +Robin Griggs Wood this week we jumped off the deep end with 7 new elements of composition. Did you know if there is a human in the picture your eye is naturally drawn to the human, even if there is also an epic sunset? Did you know you can use the rule of space to allow for motion?  See, I'm learning something! The great thing about jumping off the deep end is that I know my friends and fellow mentees are jumping right along side me. I know the #PIF's are cheering us on and I know that +Robin Griggs Wood is my lifeguard.♥ I'm jumping baby! Come on in, the water's just right.
