NUTELLA COOKIES

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 egg
1 tsp Frangelico, a hazelnut liqueur; vanilla is also fine
1/2 cup Nutella
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2 Lightly grease a cookie sheet or line it with parchment paper.
3 In a large bowl, beat the butter until soft.  Usually this takes about one minute.
4 Add both the sugars and beat the mixture until soft and fluffy.  Usually this takes about three minutes.
5 Add the Frangelico (or vanilla), egg and then the Nutella. Mix thoroughly.
6 In a medium-sized bowl, sift together the baking soda, salt, and flour.
7 Use a mixer on low speed to blend the soda/salt/flour mix into the batter from step 5.
8 Fold in the chocolate chips.
9 Bake approximately 7 minutes.
Allow the Nutella cookies to cool 5 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Project starts Saturday May 11 and lasts 21 days through May 31

The idea is to post one picture a day , the main theme being toys  but the concept of your individual project is up to you .  Here are a few ideas Dave and Felicia came up with to give you some food for thought:

Toy Story - Just a series of toys that kind of tell a story

Toy in the Life - Just everyday routine infiltrated by toys/ or toys all around in unusual locations etc.

Toy Bomber - Use any other daily theme and incorporate a toy into it

Toy Color Combo 

Candid Toy Shots - What toys do when MOST of us are not looking  ;-)

The local botanical conservatory has been having it's orchid extravaganza I now have many orchid pictures. #longwoodgardens  

M is for midnight green, yes that is a color, it is the official color of the Philadelphia Eagles, our local NFL team.  The men in my family have always been Eagles fans, in particular my Great Uncle who was a season ticket holder for more seasons then I can count. Today I said goodbye to my Uncle so I thought this was a fitting tribute to him.
